Hill Memorabilia November 07

November 8th luncheon was another enjoyable event. Attendence was 103. Some new faces were Rocco and Lou Esposito, Roger Marcio, Bobby Mortali had a large group, Jimmy Slavin Andy Riccio and AR Jr. were there, Sal DiNicola and Ed Knight led the Saint John’s contigent, Tommy Forlano was at a table with all women, the 3 Rafferty brothers were there, so were Snookey, Butch, Peppers and Blinky. Jim and Gloria Morrissey came all the way from California. Hunihan, Chambrelli, Fahy, Morrell, Quinn, Goodmaster, Giannotti, Nelson, Lee, Borelli, Daly, Maturo, Murphy, Pacelli, Codeanne, Pelzer, Haggerty, DeCapua, Sulmone were among the many names in attendence. Thanks to the committee especially Peggy’s Rogan and Pelzer, Bobby Borelli and Jack Haggerty. All appeared to have a good time. 

Saddened to hear of the passing of Elaine Portnov’s husband and Herb Lynch’s mother.

May 22, 2008  (SAVE THE DATE) is the date for the next major event for the Hill group. It will be our 3rd reunion dinner. Over 400 are expected. This should be the biggest and best event for the Hill reunion group. 

Hopefully we get return visits from Henry Gerard, Gene Zandri, Dan Gooley. We anticipate first time visits from Joe Tonelli, Earl Fowler, Rich (Captain) Chandler. Can anyone contact Charlie and Peggy Larsen, Marcel (Monk) Franco, Judy Kennedy, Ellen Pine, Patty Simpson, Red Anderson, Teddy Wojack, Tony Izzo.

Hill Reunion travelers: Ray Sartini came all the way from California and was the person who traveled the furthest for the reunion. Others came from Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and throughout New England
