My mother Lorraine Gavoli graduated from St Anthony's in 1945 with her sister Norma and my father Leon Mandro graduated from Hillhouse in 1945. My in laws are the Simoes family from 128 Putnam St.

went to st. anthonys an truman st. school in the middle 50's lived on frank street, an hung out at west street park. i now live in daytona beach, an try to visit ct. to see family, brother peter, an mike, an alot of cousin's.. lol before moving here, i lived in clinton ct. hope to hear from someone soon. take care all.

Wonderful website! I grew up in the hill section, living on Button and Hurlburt St.in the 1950's.I met most of my friends then which I still have today, I am so thankful for them.To bad I didn't know then how lucky I was to have lived in the (Hill Section).I often wondered what happened to Jackie Gilligan?If any one knows,please contact me. Great website! I grew up on Hurlburt St.,with my brothers, Fred and Ed. My mother, Helen, worked at Kravitz'. My father, the railroad and played for the triangles. I graduated from St. Peter's in 1961. I married fellow classmate, Jim Acabbo from Plymouth St.

i remember growing up on washington avenue, my parents owned the liberty grill, would be nice seeing the old friends from the neighborhood, miss the good times going to the boston model bakery early on sunday morning to get the hot rolls. can't do that today, hope to see familiar faces at the reunon at anthony's

I love this site and enjoy the memories of the hill. My parents,Grandparents and Great Grandparents were all from the Hill. Too bad things went sour there and we can't enjoy the area like we used to.Their names were Mandro,Gavoli,Branch,Raccio,Novak
